About

The Association of Chinese Political Studies (ACPS) is the largest U.S.-based organization dedicated to academic and professional activities relating to Chinese politics. The ACPS (a non-profit, non-political entity) has provided leadership, professional opportunities, and intellectual exchange to those interested in Chinese political studies for almost three decades. Since its founding in 1986, the ACPS has grown to an organization of over 1,000 members. It has held more than two dozen conferences and workshops around the globe, established a top international journal on Chinese politics (the Journal of Chinese Political Science), and overseen the publication of around 20 books.
